The BSC PREFERRED WNSF8248R2 is a floor-mount, double-compartment scullery sink built for high-volume commercial kitchens. Fabricated from 14-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, this unit delivers the structural integrity and corrosion resistance required in demanding wash and prep environments. The sink measures 73.5 inches in length and 27.5 inches in width. Each of the two compartments measures 24 inches long by 24 inches wide by 14 inches deep, with welded 14-inch radius coved corners that simplify cleaning and reduce buildup in corners. A polished satin finish resists grime and odor absorption. Drain openings are centered at 3.5 inches diameter. The unit ships at 201 pounds and is designed for professional installation by a licensed plumber.
This scullery sink is suited for commercial foodservice operations including hotels, restaurants, and cafeterias where continuous washing, rinsing, and food preparation are part of daily workflow. The integrated drainboard and sloped compartment bottoms promote rapid drainage and minimize standing water. The 8-inch-high backsplash, 2 inches thick to accommodate plumbing rough-in, provides a clean barrier against splashback along the full length of the sink. A channel rim with a 2-inch apron and inward slope reduces spillover onto the floor. Two faucet openings allow flexible placement of pre-rinse or faucet fixtures based on kitchen layout.
Designed as an OEM-style commercial scullery sink suitable for floor-mount installation in professional foodservice and institutional kitchen environments.
Installation must be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and verify drain rough-in location before setting the sink. Adjust the stainless steel legs to achieve level placement before securing drain connections. Do not overtighten drain fittings on the stainless steel drain collars; use appropriate plumber's putty or gasket seals per the drain manufacturer's instructions.
