The BSC PREFERRED VHB495212R is a very high bond acrylic foam tape engineered to replace mechanical fasteners in structural and semi-structural bonding applications. Built on a firm white acrylic foam core with a rubber-based low surface energy (LSE) adhesive, it bonds to difficult substrates including polypropylene, polystyrene, and powder-coated or coated metals without primers in most cases. A kraft paper liner protects the adhesive until installation. The tape is rated for a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 160 degrees F and resists moisture, solvents, and UV exposure, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor assembly work.

This tape is used in residential and light commercial fabrication, panel assembly, signage, and general industrial bonding where rivets, bolts, screws, spot-welds, or liquid adhesives would otherwise be required.
