The BSC PREFERRED VHB494112R is a double-sided acrylic foam mounting tape designed to replace mechanical fasteners such as rivets, bolts, screws, spot-welds, and liquid adhesives in structural and semi-structural bonding applications. The tape features a conformable dark gray acrylic foam core with acrylic adhesive on both sides and a kraft paper liner. It bonds strongly to metal, glass, and a wide range of plastics, making it a reliable fastening solution for trade and industrial use. The operating temperature range runs from -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F, and the tape resists moisture, solvents, and UV exposure. It is UL746C listed.

This tape is well suited for applications in HVAC, electrical, and general construction trades. Typical uses include bonding muntin bars to windows, attaching pre-painted metals in vehicle and truck assembly, and mounting vinyl wiring ducts and conduit channels. Installation Notes
