The BSC PREFERRED VCIS1818 is a Volatile Corrosion Inhibiting (VCI) wrapping paper designed to protect ferrous metal parts and surfaces from rust, corrosion, and oxidation during storage or transit. The paper is chemically treated to continuously vaporize and create a protective molecular environment around wrapped or covered metal components. Each case contains 500 sheets. Technicians and warehouse personnel handling metal parts, components, or assemblies use this paper as a passive, no-contact corrosion barrier that requires no additional coatings or fluids.

This VCI paper is used in industrial, mechanical, and trade service environments where ferrous metal parts must be stored or shipped without developing surface rust or corrosion. Typical applications include wrapping HVAC components, plumbing fittings, electrical hardware, and other metal parts between jobs or during long-term storage. The recommended coverage ratio is one square foot of VCI paper per one cubic foot of packaging volume. Complete wrapping of the part is required for maximum protection. Sold as a case of 500 sheets.

Installation Notes
