The BSC PREFERRED VCIPB810 is a case of 1000 low-density polyethylene VCI (Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor) poly bags designed to protect metal parts and components from rust, corrosion, dust, and moisture during storage and transit. The film is embedded with a corrosion inhibitor that releases vapor inside the sealed bag, creating a protective microclimate around the stored part without requiring any additional wrapping or surface treatment. The transparent material allows parts to be visually identified, counted, and pulled from inventory without opening the package. These bags are a standard tool in MRO, parts storage, and light manufacturing environments.
These VCI poly bags are suited for warehouse storage, parts bins, shipping, and kitting operations where metal components need passive corrosion protection. Trade professionals in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and industrial supply roles use bags like these to protect ferrous and non-ferrous metal parts during long-term storage or shipment. The drop-in design eliminates prep time compared to VCI paper wrapping. This product is equivalent to part number S-16730 and is sold as a case of 1000 bags.
Equivalent to part number S-16730. Designed for general-purpose VCI parts storage and shipping applications involving metal components in trade supply, MRO, and light industrial environments.
No tools required. Place the metal part directly into the bag and seal to activate corrosion inhibitor vapor protection. Store bags in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight to maintain VCI effectiveness. Do not puncture or leave bags unsealed during storage, as this will reduce inhibitor concentration and protection life.
