The BSC PREFERRED VCI2430 is a Volatile Corrosion Inhibiting paper designed to cover, wrap, or line packaging containing ferrous metal parts and surfaces. The chemically treated paper continuously vaporizes, releasing corrosion-inhibiting compounds that create a protective atmosphere within the wrapped enclosure. This vapor barrier actively blocks rust, corrosion, and oxidation without direct contact with the metal surface. The VCI2430 is used by maintenance technicians, industrial packagers, and trade professionals who need to store or ship metal components with long-term protection against environmental degradation.
