The BSC PREFERRED VCI1235 is a chemically treated volatile corrosion inhibiting (VCI) wrapping paper designed to protect ferrous metal parts and surfaces from rust, corrosion, and oxidation. The paper continuously vaporizes to create a protective vapor environment around wrapped or covered metal components, displacing moisture and contaminants that cause surface degradation. It is suited for packaging, storage, and transit applications where bare or finished ferrous metals require corrosion protection without the use of oils or greasy coatings. Maintenance technicians, warehouse staff, and parts handlers working with steel or iron components are the primary users of this product.
