The BSC PREFERRED THT105 is a thermal transfer ribbon sold in a case of 36, designed for use with thermal transfer label printers from Zebra, Sato, and Datamax. The ribbon features a Printhead Saver formulation and an anti-static back coating that work together to extend printhead service life and reduce replacement costs. Its high-sensitivity ink film allows printing at lower temperatures and faster speeds, cutting energy consumption without sacrificing output quality. Print results are dark, high-definition, and include rotated and non-rotated barcodes, text, logos, and symbols. The printed image is durable and smudge resistant.
The THT105 ribbon is suited for industrial and commercial labeling environments where thermal transfer printers are used for barcode generation, product labeling, shipping labels, and inventory management. It is compatible with Zebra, Sato, and Datamax brand thermal transfer printers and supports print speeds up to 12 inches per second (IPS), making it appropriate for high-volume label operations in warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and shipping departments.
Compatible with Zebra, Sato, and Datamax brand thermal transfer label printers. This ribbon is equivalent to part number S-8007.
Thermal transfer ribbons are installed by trained technicians or operators familiar with the specific printer model in use. Power down or place the printer offline before loading the ribbon to avoid printhead contact during installation. Consult the printer manufacturer's loading guide for proper ribbon path and core orientation. Avoid touching the ribbon film surface directly to prevent contamination that can affect print quality.
