Product Description

The BSC PREFERRED TDPRODWN is an all-steel bag taper designed to close poly bags quickly and reliably on the packaging line. The operator twists the neck of the bag closed and draws it through the slot, sealing it in seconds. The 5/8-inch throat accommodates thicker bags that narrower tapers cannot handle. Pre-drilled mounting holes are included for fixed installation on a workstation or conveyor line. This unit is compatible with 5/8-inch bag tape and works with the full line of 3/8-inch bag tape as well. It is suited for warehouse, distribution, and light industrial packaging operations.

The TDPRODWN is used in packaging and shipping environments where high-volume poly bag closure is required. Typical applications include bagging operations in distribution centers, retail back rooms, and manufacturing facilities. The all-steel frame holds up to repeated daily use. Replacement tape cutting blades for this model are available under part number TDPRODEB2. Replacement bag trimming blades are available under part number TDPRODEB3. The unit ships as a single piece and mounts at a fixed station.
