The BSC PREFERRED T9554004 is an open cell polyurethane foam tape designed to fill gaps on irregular surfaces, seal out drafts, cushion components, dampen vibrations, and resist impact. The foam substrate measures 1/4 inch thick and carries a firm acrylic adhesive backing rated for high bond strength, high temperature resistance, and solvent resistance. The conformable foam construction allows the tape to compress and conform to uneven mating surfaces, distributing stress across the contact area rather than concentrating it at a single point.
