The BSC PREFERRED T93823936PK is a high-temperature masking tape engineered for paint masking applications where clean, residue-free removal after baking cycles is critical. The crepe paper backing and rubber adhesive construction deliver instant adhesion to most surfaces while resisting lifting and curling during application. This tape withstands temperatures up to 325 degrees F for up to 30 minutes, making it compatible with the bake cycles common in transportation and fleet refinishing work. It can be removed hot or cold from most surfaces without damaging the finish underneath. Automotive painters, body shop technicians, and fleet refinishers are the primary installers of this product.
This tape is suited for use with high-solids paints and clear coatings typical in the transportation industry, including automotive refinishing and fleet vehicle painting operations. It performs in both production shop environments and single-vehicle repair scenarios. Each case contains 6 rolls, sold as a single case unit. The combination of clean removal and high-temperature resistance makes it a reliable choice for bake-booth paint masking workflows where tape failure or adhesive transfer would require costly rework.
Designed for use with high-solids paints and clear coatings in transportation and automotive refinishing applications. Suitable for use on most painted, primed, and bare metal surfaces where clean tape removal after baking is required.
Surface should be clean and free of dust, oil, and moisture before applying tape to ensure proper adhesion and a clean paint line. Apply with firm pressure across the full length of the tape edge to prevent paint bleed. Do not exceed the rated temperature or time limit of 325 degrees F for 30 minutes in a bake environment. Remove tape promptly after the bake cycle while still warm or after full cooling to minimize the risk of adhesive transfer.
