The BSC PREFERRED T934178 is a freezer-grade adhesive tape designed for labeling and sealing frozen food packages. It features a saturated crepe paper backing with a rubber adhesive that maintains a tight, moisture-resistant bond across a wide temperature range. The tape adheres to paper, plastic wrap, and aluminum foil, and remains sealed at temperatures down to -40 degrees F. It can be applied at or near room temperature to a dry surface and is safe for transition from freezer to microwave. Each case contains 24 rolls, making it practical for high-volume food service and cold storage operations.
This tape is suited for commercial and institutional food service environments, cold storage facilities, and food processing operations where reliable sealing and legible labeling at sub-zero temperatures are required. It is also used in residential and small-scale food prep settings for portioning and freezing bulk items. The ability to write on the crepe paper backing makes it practical for date and content labeling directly on the tape surface.
Designed as a direct equivalent to part number S-19241. Suitable for general freezer tape applications involving paper, plastic wrap, and aluminum foil surfaces in food storage and labeling uses.
Apply to a clean, dry surface at or near room temperature for proper adhesion. Avoid applying to wet, frosted, or heavily contaminated surfaces, as this will reduce bond strength. No special tools are required for application or removal. Handle rolls carefully in cold environments, as extreme temperatures may affect dispensing.
