The BSC PREFERRED STC171 is a case of 100 multi-layer anti-static shielding bags designed to protect ESD-sensitive electronic components and assemblies during storage and transport. Each transparent bag is printed with the standard ESD warning symbol for quick visual identification. The multi-layer construction guards against electrostatic charges that can damage sensitive circuitry, and the bags are heat sealable for a secure, tamper-evident closure. These are intended for commercial applications and are not listed under the Defense Standardization Program Qualified Product List.

Installation Notes

Handle ESD-sensitive components only at a properly grounded ESD workstation while wearing a grounded wrist strap. Place the component inside the bag before sealing with a compatible heat sealer.
