The BSC PREFERRED STC128 is a case of 500 static-shielding bags engineered to protect ESD-sensitive electronic components and assemblies during storage and transit. Each bag features a transparent, multi-layer construction that guards against electrostatic discharge. The exterior is printed with the standard ESD warning symbol for quick visual identification. Bags are heat sealable, allowing technicians to create a secure closure without additional hardware. These bags are intended for commercial use only and are not listed under the Defense Standardization Program Qualified Product List.
These ESD shielding bags are suited for electronics manufacturing, field service, and bench repair environments where sensitive PCBs, capacitors, ICs, and other ESD-sensitive components need protection between handling and installation. They are a standard tool in any electronics repair workflow, appropriate for HVAC control board handling, electrical shop environments, and similar trade settings where static-sensitive parts are routinely packaged or stored.
Designed as a commercial-grade static-shielding bag for general use with ESD-sensitive electronic devices and components. Equivalent to part number S-3276.
ESD shielding bags should be handled in accordance with ANSI/ESD S20.20 or applicable ESD control program standards. Always ground yourself with an ESD wrist strap before handling sensitive components and placing them in bags. Use a compatible heat sealer set to the appropriate temperature for the bag film to avoid damaging the shielding layers. Sealed bags should be stored away from heat sources and sharp objects that could compromise bag integrity.
