The BSC PREFERRED SS83452 is a heavy-duty triple compartment scullery sink designed for commercial and high-volume kitchen environments. Fabricated from 14-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, it delivers corrosion resistance and long-term durability under continuous-use conditions. The unit measures 48 inches in length and 27.5 inches in width and mounts directly to the floor on four adjustable tubular legs. Three deep bowls, each 15 inches long by 24 inches wide by 14 inches deep, provide dedicated stations for washing, soaking, and rinsing. A polished satin finish resists grime and simplifies routine cleaning. Licensed plumbers and commercial kitchen installers typically handle this fixture in new construction and retrofit projects.
This scullery sink is suited for institutional and commercial applications including restaurant kitchens, healthcare facilities, school cafeterias, and park service buildings. The floor-mount configuration accommodates high-demand environments where table-mount sinks are insufficient. Two faucet holes allow flexibility in choosing faucet assemblies to match local plumbing requirements. The channel rim design with a 2-inch apron minimizes spillover during high-volume use, and the pitched compartments promote passive drainage without standing water. An 8-inch backsplash with a 45-degree slope is built in to block wall splash and reduce cleaning time between uses.
Designed as a floor-mount scullery sink for commercial and institutional kitchens requiring three-compartment washing capability. ADA-compliant depth options are available, making this unit adaptable to accessible-design specifications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable IPC and local plumbing codes. Shut off water supply lines and confirm floor drain positioning before setting the sink in its final location. Adjust the four tubular legs to level the unit on the finished floor surface before making drain and supply connections. Do not overtighten drain fittings on stainless steel; follow fitting manufacturer torque guidance and use appropriate thread sealant or plumbers tape as required by local code.
