The BSC PREFERRED SS8260L2 is a heavy-duty double compartment scullery sink constructed from 14-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, built for demanding commercial kitchen environments. Measuring 85.5 inches long by 27.5 inches wide by 14 inches deep, the sink features two individual wash compartments — each 30 inches long by 24 inches wide — providing dedicated stations for washing, rinsing, and soaking pots, pans, and commercial dishware. An integrated drainboard and a full-length 8-inch backsplash with a 45-degree slope round out the unit. Licensed plumbers and commercial kitchen contractors are the typical installers for this class of sink.
The SS8260L2 is designed for high-volume food service and institutional settings including restaurants, cafeterias, healthcare facilities, and commissary kitchens. The two deep bowls accommodate large cookware and sheet pans, while the integrated drainboard provides a dedicated drying surface without additional equipment. The polished satin finish resists surface corrosion and simplifies sanitation routines. Four adjustable stainless steel tubular legs allow for leveling on uneven floors, a common requirement in older commercial kitchen installations.
Designed as a direct-install commercial scullery sink suitable for restaurant, cafeteria, healthcare, and food-service facility applications requiring a two-compartment washing station with integrated drainboard.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and applicable IPC requirements. Shut off the water supply and verify drain rough-in locations before positioning the unit. The adjustable tubular legs allow for leveling, but confirm the floor structure can support the loaded weight of the sink and water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel-wool pads on the stainless steel finish during or after installation, as surface scratching can reduce corrosion resistance.
