The BSC PREFERRED SS8254R2 is a double compartment scullery sink built for heavy-duty commercial kitchen and food service applications. Fabricated from 14-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a polished satin finish, this floor-mounted unit measures 79.5 inches long by 27.5 inches wide by 14 inches deep. Each of the two bowls measures 27 inches in length and 24 inches in width, providing ample room for washing large cookware, rinsing produce, and general prep work. The unit is designed for installation by licensed plumbers in high-volume environments where durability, drainage performance, and sanitation are critical.
This sink is suited for commercial kitchens, restaurant prep areas, cafeteria sculleries, food processing facilities, and institutional food service settings. The floor-mount configuration with four adjustable stainless steel legs makes it appropriate for environments that require frequent cleaning beneath the unit or variable floor-height accommodation. The drainboard and both bowl compartments are pitched for gravity drainage, supporting hygiene-focused workflow. Two faucet holes are required, making it compatible with standard deck-mount commercial faucet configurations.
Designed as an OEM-style floor-mount scullery sink for commercial kitchen and food service installations requiring a double-compartment stainless steel unit with drainboard.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and verify drain rough-in location and size before setting the unit. The adjustable legs must be leveled on a structurally sound floor surface before final plumbing connections are made. Do not overtighten drain fittings on the stainless steel drain collars; use appropriate plumber's putty or gasket seals as required by code.
