The BSC PREFERRED SS8254LR4 is a floor-mount double compartment scullery sink built for high-volume commercial environments. Constructed from 14-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, it measures 102 inches long, 27.5 inches wide, and 14 inches deep overall, with two individual bowls each sized at 27 inches by 24 inches. An integrated drainboard and fully welded square-corner compartments support efficient workflow and straightforward sanitation. A channel rim design reduces spillover, and the 8-inch backsplash with a 45-degree slope helps contain grime at the back wall. Licensed plumbers and commercial kitchen contractors typically handle installation of this unit.
This sink is designed for demanding wash and prep applications in restaurants, cafeterias, healthcare facilities, and institutional food service operations. The 3.5-inch centered drain openings in both bowls promote consistent drainage, and the deck pitch directs water flow toward the drainboard. Four faucet holes are pre-punched to accommodate a range of faucet configurations. Adjustable stainless steel tubular legs with bullet-shaped feet allow height fine-tuning of up to 1 inch to meet floor-level variations common in commercial kitchen builds.
Designed as a floor-mount OEM-style replacement or new-installation scullery sink for commercial kitchens, food preparation stations, and institutional service areas requiring a double-compartment stainless steel sink at the 102-inch length class.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and verify drain rough-in locations before setting the unit. Leg height should be adjusted and locked before connecting drain tailpieces to prevent stress on fittings. Due to the unit weight of 246 pounds, a minimum two-person lift and appropriate material handling equipment are strongly recommended during positioning.
