The BSC PREFERRED SS8248LR0 is a double compartment scullery sink built for high-demand commercial kitchens. Fabricated from 14-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, it measures 96 inches long by 27.5 inches wide by 14 inches tall overall. Each of the two bowls measures 24 inches by 24 inches by 14 inches deep, providing substantial capacity for washing and rinsing large volumes of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. A full-length 8-inch backsplash with a 45-degree slope resists grime buildup and simplifies sanitation. Four adjustable tubular legs with stainless steel feet support the unit and allow height adjustment to suit floor conditions. An integrated drainboard is included for drying and organizing washed items.
This scullery sink is designed for heavy-use commercial environments including restaurants, healthcare facilities, cafeterias, and educational institutions. The spacious dual-bowl layout supports a three-compartment-style wash, rinse, and sanitize workflow where a dedicated pre-rinse or soaking station is also needed. The channel rim design with a 2-inch apron controls splashing and reduces spills onto surrounding floor surfaces. The integrated drainboard keeps the work area organized during high-volume dishwashing operations. Licensed plumbers typically handle rough-in and final connection in commercial settings. The unit is noted as also available in ADA-compliant depths for facilities requiring accessible sink configurations.
Designed as an OEM-style commercial scullery sink suitable for restaurants, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and other high-demand foodservice environments. Also available in ADA-compliant depths for accessible installations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the IPC. Shut off the water supply and verify drain rough-in locations before positioning the sink. Adjust the tubular legs to achieve a level, stable installation on the finished floor surface. Do not overtighten drain fittings or use thread sealants incompatible with stainless steel components.
