The BSC PREFERRED SS8242LR2 is a floor-mount double compartment scullery sink built from 14-gauge Type 304 stainless steel for heavy-duty commercial use. The overall sink measures 90 inches long by 27.5 inches wide by 14 inches deep. Each of the two bowls measures 21 inches long by 24 inches wide by 14 inches deep, with a 3.5-inch center drain opening per compartment. A channel rim and 2-inch apron contain splashback and direct excess water away from the work surface. The polished finish delivers a satin sheen that resists staining and cleans quickly between shifts. This sink is designed for licensed plumbers installing commercial foodservice and institutional equipment.
The SS8242LR2 is well suited for commercial kitchens, healthcare facilities, school cafeterias, and public-service environments that require continuous high-volume washing of dishes, utensils, and food prep items. The sink accommodates ADA depth requirements, making it a viable option for accessible installations. Two pre-drilled faucet holes accept standard commercial deck-mount faucets. The full-length 8-inch backsplash with a 45-degree slope protects walls and resists grease accumulation during extended daily operation. Four adjustable stainless steel legs with bullet-shaped feet provide up to 1 inch of height adjustment to level the unit on uneven floor surfaces.
Designed as a floor-mount replacement or new-installation scullery sink for commercial kitchens, healthcare facilities, educational facilities, and similar institutional environments requiring a double-compartment stainless steel sink.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and verify floor drain positioning before setting the unit. Use appropriate drain fittings for the 3.5-inch drain openings and confirm leg leveling before making final drain connections. Do not stand on or apply concentrated point loads to the sink bowls during installation.
We pulled together the parts most installs need for this unit, plus a few add-ons worth a look. Check what you need — nothing here blocks checkout.
