The BSC PREFERRED SS8230R2 is a floor-mounted double compartment scullery sink built for high-demand commercial environments. Fabricated from 14-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, it delivers the corrosion resistance and structural rigidity required in professional food service settings. The sink measures 55.5 inches in length, 27.5 inches in width, and 14 inches in depth overall. Two deep compartments, each 15 inches long by 24 inches wide by 14 inches deep, provide ample room for washing large pots, sheet pans, and bulky utensils. A 3.5-inch drain opening in each compartment supports fast water removal. Adjustable stainless steel tubular legs allow height customization to suit the specific working conditions of the installation site.
This scullery sink is intended for commercial kitchen operations where a two-basin wash station is a code or workflow requirement. Typical installations include restaurants, school cafeterias, healthcare facility kitchens, and large public food service venues. The unit includes a built-in pitched drainboard that channels water away from cleaned items and a full-length 8-inch backsplash with a 45-degree slope designed to reduce grime buildup and simplify cleaning. Two faucet holes allow for a range of faucet configurations to match the specific needs of the installation. The channel rim design with a 2-inch apron reduces spillover onto adjacent work surfaces.
Designed as a floor-mounted commercial scullery sink suitable for use in restaurants, cafeterias, healthcare kitchens, and similar food service facilities requiring a double-compartment wash station.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and applicable sections of the International Plumbing Code. Shut off the water supply to the work area before beginning rough-in connections. Verify that floor drain positioning and supply line rough-in locations align with the sink drain and faucet hole placement before setting the unit. Leg height should be adjusted and locked before final leveling and drain connection.
