The BSC PREFERRED SS8230OF2 is a floor-mounted, double compartment scullery sink built for demanding commercial environments. Fabricated from 14-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, it delivers long-term resistance to rust and corrosion. The sink measures 33 inches long by 27.5 inches wide by 14 inches deep overall and features two independent bowls, each 15 inches in length and 24 inches in width. A channel rim with a 2-inch apron minimizes overflow, while an 8-inch full-length backsplash with a 45-degree slope resists grime accumulation. Licensed plumbers and commercial kitchen contractors typically handle installation of this unit.
This sink is engineered for high-volume use in commercial kitchens, food service operations, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and recreational spaces. The sloped compartments and drainboard direct wastewater toward the two 3.5-inch center drain openings, keeping drainage efficient during continuous use. Four LK251 adjustable tubular legs with bullet-shaped stainless steel feet provide up to 1 inch of height adjustment, allowing stable placement on uneven flooring. Two faucet holes accommodate a range of faucet configurations to suit specific operational needs.
Designed as a floor-mounted replacement or new-installation scullery sink for commercial kitchens, food service facilities, healthcare environments, educational institutions, and recreational spaces requiring heavy-duty stainless steel sink equipment.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC requirements. Shut off the water supply and verify drain rough-in locations before setting the sink. Leg height should be adjusted prior to final drain and faucet connections to ensure a level, stable install. Do not overtighten drain fittings on the stainless steel bowls, as this may distort the drain seat.
We pulled together the parts most installs need for this unit, plus a few add-ons worth a look. Check what you need — nothing here blocks checkout.
