The BSC PREFERRED SS8136LR2 is a heavy-duty, floor-mount scullery sink built for continuous use in commercial food service environments. Fabricated from 14-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, the single-compartment bowl measures 36 inches in length, 24 inches in width, and 14 inches in depth. A channel rim design with a 2-inch apron runs the perimeter to contain splashing and limit spillover onto surrounding surfaces. An 8-inch full-length backsplash pitched at a 45-degree slope sheds debris and simplifies cleaning at the end of a shift. The bowl is pitched toward a central 3-1/2 inch drain opening for fast water evacuation. Two faucet holes are pre-drilled and positioned for standard deck-mount fixtures. Adjustable tubular legs allow height tuning at installation.
The SS8136LR2 is intended for commercial and institutional settings where high-volume food preparation and warewashing demand a sink that holds up to repeated thermal cycling, cleaning chemicals, and physical impact. Typical installations include restaurant prep areas, cafeteria sculleries, school or hospital kitchens, and food processing facilities. The satin-finish polish resists surface staining and meets sanitation standards common in commercial food service environments. Licensed plumbers handling commercial sink rough-ins will find the layout consistent with standard practice.
Designed as an OEM-style commercial scullery sink suitable for floor-mount installation in restaurants, cafeterias, institutional kitchens, and food preparation facilities requiring a single-compartment stainless steel sink with integrated drainboard.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and applicable IPC requirements for commercial sink connections. Shut off the water supply and verify drain rough-in alignment before setting the sink on its legs. Leg height should be adjusted and locked before final drain and supply connections are made. Do not overtighten drain fittings against the stainless steel bowl flange; use appropriate plumber putty or gasket as specified by the drain fitting manufacturer.
