The BSC PREFERRED SS8130LR2 is a floor-mount, single-compartment scullery sink built for heavy-duty commercial and residential kitchen environments. Fabricated from 14-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, it resists corrosion and stands up to continuous daily use. The overall footprint measures 78 inches long by 27.5 inches wide by 14 inches deep. A channel rim design with a 2-inch apron controls spillover, and an 8-inch full-length backsplash angled at 45 degrees keeps splashes contained. Four adjustable stainless steel tubular legs with bullet-shaped feet provide up to 1 inch of height adjustment for level installation on uneven floors. Licensed plumbers and commercial kitchen equipment installers are the primary trades for this fixture.
The SS8130LR2 is suited for commercial kitchens, restaurant prep areas, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and residential utility spaces that require a large-capacity single-basin sink. The single compartment measures 30 inches long by 24 inches wide by 14 inches deep, providing ample room for large pots, sheet pans, and bulk food prep tasks. A centrally located 3.5-inch drain opening and a pitched drainboard promote fast, efficient drainage during high-volume use. Two pre-punched faucet holes accommodate a range of faucet configurations to suit different workflow requirements.
Designed as a floor-mount scullery sink replacement or new installation for commercial and residential kitchens requiring a single-compartment stainless steel basin with drainboard.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the IPC. Shut off the water supply and ensure drain rough-in is correctly positioned before setting the sink. Leg height adjustment should be completed before final drain and supply connections are made. Verify floor load capacity is adequate given the unit weight of 172 pounds before placement.
