The BSC PREFERRED SS8130LR1 is a heavy-duty, single-compartment scullery sink fabricated from 14-gauge, Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish. The sink compartment measures 30 inches long, 24 inches wide, and 14 inches deep, providing ample capacity for high-volume warewashing, food prep, and cookware handling. A channel rim design incorporates a 2-inch apron along the perimeter to contain spillover and keep adjacent surfaces dry. An integrated drainboard runs the full length of the unit, giving kitchen staff a dedicated drying zone without requiring additional equipment. This sink is sized and built for commercial installation by licensed plumbers in demanding foodservice, healthcare, and institutional environments.
The SS8130LR1 is suited for commercial kitchens in schools, healthcare facilities, restaurants, and recreational centers where a rugged, easy-to-sanitize sink is required. The 8-inch full-length backsplash is angled at 45 degrees to resist grime accumulation and simplify daily cleaning. The compartment floor is pitched toward a centered 3-1/2-inch drain opening to promote complete drainage without standing water. A single faucet hole is pre-drilled for straightforward deck-mount faucet installation. Four adjustable stainless steel tubular legs with bullet-shaped feet allow height customization to fit the specific workspace layout.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install scullery sink for commercial plumbing applications requiring a single-compartment stainless steel sink with integrated drainboard and adjustable leg support.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and verify drain rough-in dimensions before positioning the unit. Leg height should be adjusted and locked before final connection of the drain and faucet. Do not exceed the load capacity of the leg assembly, and ensure the floor surface beneath the feet is level and capable of supporting the fully loaded sink weight.
