The BSC PREFERRED SPB4 is an impulse bag sealer designed for sealing polyethylene and polypropylene bags and tubing across a wide range of material thicknesses. Unlike heat-sealers that require a warm-up period, the SPB4 operates on an impulse system, delivering a brief burst of heat only during the sealing cycle. An adjustable timer allows the operator to fine-tune seal time to match the thickness of the poly material being sealed. The unit requires no warm-up, making it ready for immediate use. It weighs approximately 4.06 pounds and ships in a package measuring 7.5 x 10 x 4 inches.

The SPB4 is suited for packaging applications in warehouse, distribution, light manufacturing, and shipping environments. To create a seal, the operator places the open end of a bag or length of tubing between the seal bars, presses down, and releases. The timer controls the heat pulse duration automatically.
