The BSC PREFERRED SE1005G is a one-time-use, pull-tight adjustable security seal engineered for transportation, storage, and logistics applications where tamper evidence is required. Built from heavy-duty, all-plastic, one-piece construction, these seals feature a tamper-resistant acetal locking mechanism that allows the user to cinch the seal to a specific length. Once engaged, the seal cannot be loosened without visible evidence of tampering. The SE1005G is weather resistant and rated to withstand temperature extremes, making it suitable for outdoor and cold-chain use. Each case contains 100 seals matted in strips of 10 for ease of handling and deployment.
These seals are designed for use on truck trailers, cargo containers, storage units, utility meters, and any other equipment where a multi-locking, tamper-evident pull-tight device is required. The adjustable design makes them well-suited for situations where seal length cannot be predetermined, such as varied handle diameters or irregular hasp openings. They are commonly deployed by transportation companies, warehouse operations, security personnel, and facility managers. Each seal is consecutively numbered for tracking and chain-of-custody documentation.
Designed as a direct equivalent replacement for part number H-610G. Suitable for use on transportation and storage equipment requiring a multi-locking, tamper-evident pull-tight security device wherever adjustable seal length is needed.
No tools are required for application - thread the tail through the locking head and pull to the desired tension to engage the acetal locking mechanism. Confirm the seal number is recorded before installation for documentation purposes. To remove, cut the seal body; the locking mechanism is not reversible and any tampering will be immediately visible. Seals should be inspected upon receipt of shipment and any broken or missing seals should be reported and documented per applicable chain-of-custody procedures.
