The BSC PREFERRED PSR33192 is a drop-in double bowl kitchen sink built from 20-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. It measures 33 inches x 19.5 inches x 7.125 inches overall, with two equal square bowls each sized at 14 inches x 14 inches x 7 inches. Each bowl features a center drain opening sized at 3.5 inches, compatible with standard plumbing configurations. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside to reduce vibration and noise during use. U-channel mounting clips secure the sink from below, reducing the time spent working under the cabinet. Licensed plumbers and experienced DIYers handle installation. The sink weighs 17 pounds and requires a minimum cabinet width of 36 inches.
This sink is suited for residential kitchen installations where a drop-in configuration is required. Two faucet holes are pre-punched, supporting a standard two-hole faucet deck setup or a single-handle faucet with accessories. The dual-bowl layout allows simultaneous washing and rinsing tasks, making it practical for high-use household kitchens. It fits into a countertop cutout and drops in from above, which simplifies retrofitting into an existing countertop without cabinet modification. Minimum cabinet size is 36 inches.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new-install double bowl kitchen sink for countertop cutout applications requiring a minimum 36-inch base cabinet. Accepts standard 3.5-inch basket strainer drains.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified tradesperson. Shut off the water supply and disconnect drain connections before removing any existing sink. The drop-in design seats into a countertop cutout with the rim resting on the deck surface; apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the perimeter before setting the sink to prevent water intrusion. Secure using the provided U-channel mounting clips from below and verify drain alignment before reconnecting supply lines.
