The BSC PREFERRED PSDKR2517C is a drop-in, single-bowl classroom sink constructed from 20-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. It measures 25 inches x 17 inches x 7.125 inches and is designed for high-use environments where durability and hygiene are priorities. The sink ships with an LKD208513LC faucet, an LK35 drain, and LK1141A bubblers, making it a ready-to-install kit. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside to reduce vibration and noise transfer. A centrally located 3.5-inch drain opening and a two-hole faucet configuration simplify rough-in. Mounting clips seat inside the U-Channel, minimizing the time a plumber spends working underneath the cabinet. This unit is intended for installation by a licensed plumber.
This sink is suited for classroom washup stations, school laboratories, healthcare hand-wash points, and similar institutional or public-space applications. The single-bowl layout provides adequate workspace for hand washing, equipment rinsing, and general utility tasks. A minimum cabinet opening of 30 inches is required for proper fit. The included cut-out template supports accurate field layout before cutting the countertop. The accessory kit eliminates the need to source a faucet, drain, and bubbler separately, reducing procurement steps on renovation or new-construction projects.
Requires a minimum cabinet width of 30 inches. Designed as a drop-in replacement or new-install sink for classroom, healthcare, and institutional countertop applications with a two-hole faucet deck configuration.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and verify the drain line is accessible before beginning the countertop cut. Use the included template to mark and cut the drop-in opening before lowering the sink into position. Do not overtighten the U-Channel mounting clips, as this can distort the sink rim or damage the countertop substrate.
