The BSC PREFERRED PL494 is a pressure-sensitive packing list envelope designed to secure and protect documents attached to the outside of shipments. Constructed from heavy 2 Mil poly film, these envelopes are pre-printed with Safety Data Sheet identification on the face, making them a direct-fit solution for hazmat and chemical shipment compliance workflows. A hot melt adhesive backing delivers strong, reliable adhesion to both paper and corrugated surfaces. Each envelope opens along the first dimension for easy document insertion and retrieval. The case contains 1000 envelopes, suitable for high-volume shipping and warehouse operations.
These envelopes are used in shipping, receiving, and warehouse environments where Safety Data Sheet documentation must accompany outbound freight. They are well-suited for chemical distributors, industrial suppliers, and any facility shipping regulated materials that require SDS paperwork on the exterior of the package. The 2 Mil poly construction keeps documents readable and dry in typical freight and dock conditions. These are sold by the case and are a direct equivalent to part number S-21298.
Designed as an OEM-style equivalent to part number S-21298; compatible with standard exterior document attachment workflows on paper and corrugated shipments requiring Safety Data Sheet documentation.
Clean and dry the attachment surface before applying to ensure full adhesive contact. Peel the adhesive liner, press firmly onto the outer face of the carton or mailer, and apply even pressure across the full envelope surface. Insert the required Safety Data Sheet document before sealing for transit.
