The BSC PREFERRED PB573 is a case of 1000 general-purpose polyethylene bags designed to protect light to medium weight products from dirt, dust, and moisture during storage and transit. Each bag is manufactured from 100% virgin, high-clarity polyethylene film, keeping contents visible while maintaining a clean barrier. The film meets FDA and USDA specifications, making these bags suitable for use in food-contact and sanitary-sensitive environments. Bags can be sealed using twist ties, bag tape, or impulse sealers, giving packaging operations flexibility in how they close and secure each bag. These are a high-volume staple for distribution centers, warehouses, and light manufacturing facilities.
These poly bags are well suited for general packaging applications across a range of industries including food service, parts distribution, retail, and light manufacturing. They are commonly used to sleeve individual components, bundle small hardware, or protect finished goods before boxing. The case quantity of 1000 makes this format practical for facilities that package product in high volume on a daily basis. Because the film is sourced from virgin polyethylene, clarity and consistency are reliable across the full case run.
Equivalent to part number S-2454. Designed as a general-purpose poly bag replacement suitable for standard light to medium duty packaging applications.
No installation is required for this product. When using impulse sealers to close bags, follow the sealer manufacturer guidelines for dwell time and temperature settings appropriate to the film gauge. Store unused bags in a clean, dry location away from direct sunlight to preserve film integrity.
