The BSC PREFERRED MGLG103 is an amber-tinted, reclosable poly bag engineered to block ultraviolet light and protect light-sensitive contents from UV degradation. The film incorporates a UV blocker that limits light transmission to no more than 10% at any wavelength from 290nm to 450nm, meeting the requirements of USP XXII and USP XXIII procedure 66.1. Each bag features an airtight zipper closure that seals out dust, dirt, and moisture. These bags are used in laboratory, pharmaceutical, electronics, and distribution environments where UV exposure or contamination can compromise product integrity. Sold in cases of 1000.
These bags are suited for packaging and storing light-sensitive materials including medications, biological samples, photographic film, electronic components, and computer parts. The amber color provides immediate visual identification, distinguishing UV-protective packaging from standard clear poly bags on the line or shelf. They are appropriate for use during testing, transit, and long-term storage applications where USP-compliant light protection is required.
Designed for general-purpose UV-protective packaging of light-sensitive products including medications, laboratory samples, photographic materials, and electronic components in shipping, storage, and testing applications.
No tools or mechanical installation required. Ensure contents are fully seated inside the bag before sealing the zipper to achieve an airtight closure. Store unused bags away from direct sunlight and heat sources to maintain film integrity. Verify that the intended application meets the USP light-transmission requirements before use in regulated pharmaceutical or laboratory environments.
