The BSC PREFERRED LRS3322PD1 is a single bowl drop-in kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. It measures 33 inches long by 22 inches wide by 7.625 inches deep overall, with a bowl interior of 28 inches long, 16 inches wide, and 7.5 inches deep. The sink ships with a LKPD1 Perfect Drain and strainer assembly, which eliminates the recessed gap found on standard drain openings, allowing food debris and liquids to rinse away cleanly rather than collect around the drain ring. Sound-deadening pads bonded to the underside of the bowl reduce vibration and noise during use. Licensed plumbers and remodeling contractors are the typical installers for this type of fixture.
This sink is suited for residential kitchen installations where a standard drop-in configuration is required. The rectangular bowl with straight sidewalls maximizes usable interior volume for soaking and washing. A recommended cabinet opening of 36 inches accommodates the 33-inch sink deck. The drop-in design uses U-channel mounting clips to secure the sink to the countertop deck from below, making the above-deck installation straightforward with standard countertop cutout work completed beforehand. The lustrous satin finish blends with a wide range of kitchen hardware finishes and resists visible surface scratching over time.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new-installation sink for standard 36-inch base cabinets requiring a 33-inch deck cutout. Pairs with the included LKPD1 Perfect Drain and strainer.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local IPC plumbing code requirements. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain plumbing before removing any existing sink. The countertop cutout must be completed to the manufacturer-specified dimensions before setting the sink deck. Apply a continuous bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the underside of the sink rim before setting it into the cutout, then secure with the provided U-channel mounting clips from below.
