The BSC PREFERRED LRQ22224 is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel single-bowl drop-in kitchen sink designed for residential kitchen installations. The sink measures 22 inches wide by 22 inches long by 7.625 inches deep overall, with a usable bowl interior of 19 inches in length and 16 inches in width. A Quick-Clip Mounting System allows the unit to be set and secured from above the countertop without undercabinet access during fastening. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside of the bowl to reduce vibration and noise during use. The center drain opening measures 3.5 inches. This sink is manufactured in the USA and suited for licensed plumbers and experienced trade installers.
This sink fits standard residential kitchen countertop cutouts and requires a minimum cabinet width of 27 inches. The straight sidewall bowl geometry maximizes interior volume, making it practical for washing large cookware, soaking, and stacking. The lustrous grain finish on the Type 304 stainless steel is designed to resist surface scratches from daily use, and minor surface marks tend to blend into the finish over time. This sink suits new construction, kitchen remodels, and countertop replacement projects where a drop-in configuration is specified.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new-install sink for residential kitchen countertop applications requiring a minimum cabinet width of 27 inches and a center drain opening of 3.5 inches.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable IPC provisions and local plumbing codes. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply connections before removing any existing sink. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the countertop cutout perimeter before setting the sink, and engage the Quick-Clip fasteners from above to secure the deck flange. Do not overtighten mounting clips against fragile countertop materials such as laminate or solid surface without using the appropriate backing hardware.
