The BSC PREFERRED LRQ17163 is a single-bowl drop-in kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. It measures 17 inches long by 16 inches wide by 7.625 inches deep, providing a spacious rectangular basin suited for washing, soaking, and stacking. The lustrous brushed finish integrates a rich surface grain that absorbs minor scratches over time, maintaining appearance through heavy daily use. A Quick-Clip mounting system secures the sink from above the countertop using included hardware, which is well suited for laminate surfaces and reduces under-counter access requirements. A centered 3.5-inch drain opening supports efficient drainage. Sound-deadening pads are factory applied to the underside to reduce vibration and noise during use. Licensed plumbers and skilled trade installers handle routine fitment of this type.
This sink is designed for residential and light commercial kitchen applications including primary kitchen sinks, bar sinks, and laundry rooms. The drop-in configuration requires a countertop cutout of 16.375 inches by 15.375 inches. A minimum cabinet width of 21 inches is required to accommodate the sink body. The deep 7.625-inch bowl depth supports large cookware and extended soak tasks without overflow concern. The product is manufactured in the USA.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new-installation sink for residential and light commercial kitchen, bar, and laundry countertop applications requiring a 16.375-inch by 15.375-inch cutout and a minimum 21-inch cabinet width.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber in compliance with local IPC plumbing code requirements. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before removing any existing sink. Apply a continuous bead of approved silicone sealant around the perimeter of the cutout before dropping the sink into position, then secure using the included Quick-Clip hardware. Do not overtighten mounting clips, as doing so can distort the sink rim or damage countertop laminate.
