The BSC PREFERRED LRQ13161 is a single-bowl, drop-in stainless steel sink built for residential kitchens, laundry rooms, and light commercial prep areas. Fabricated from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, the unit measures 13 x 16 x 7.625 inches overall with a rectangular bowl interior of 10 x 10 inches and a bowl depth of 7.5 inches. A quick-clip mounting system allows the sink to be set and secured from above the countertop without specialized tools, making it a straightforward installation for plumbers and skilled finish contractors. Sound-deadening pads are factory-applied to reduce vibration and operational noise during use. The scratch-resistant surface is designed to blend minor abrasions over time under normal service conditions. Made in the USA.
This sink is suited for drop-in installation in residential kitchen countertops, secondary prep stations, laundry areas, and light commercial settings where a compact single-bowl unit is required. The 3.5-inch center drain opening supports standard drain assemblies. Hardware included in the package is sized for 0.75-inch countertop thickness. A minimum cabinet opening of 18 inches is required for proper installation clearance. Its compact footprint makes it a practical fit in galley kitchens, wet bars, and utility rooms where counter space is limited.
Designed for drop-in installation in countertops with a minimum cabinet size of 18 inches. Mounting hardware included supports laminate and solid-surface countertops up to 0.75 inches thick. Compatible with standard 3.5-inch kitchen drain assemblies and faucet configurations installed through a separate countertop cutout.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified finish contractor. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain plumbing before removing any existing sink. Verify the countertop cutout dimensions and cabinet clearance meet the 18-inch minimum before setting the sink. Apply a continuous bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the perimeter of the cutout per the manufacturer's instructions and local plumbing code requirements before securing the quick-clips.
