The BSC PREFERRED LRADQ2522604 is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel single bowl drop-in kitchen sink designed for residential kitchen installations. Measuring 25 inches in length and 22 inches in width with a 6-inch bowl depth, it provides substantial basin capacity for dishwashing, meal prep, and general kitchen tasks. The rectangular bowl interior measures 21 inches long by 15.75 inches wide. An offset 3.5-inch drain placement shifts the drain away from center, maximizing usable basin floor space and improving cabinet clearance below. This sink weighs 15 pounds and ships as a single unit. Licensed plumbers handle the rough-in and final connection on this type of fixture.
This drop-in sink is suited for residential kitchen countertop installations where a self-rimming mount is specified. The Quick-Clip Mounting System allows the sink to be secured from above the countertop after the cutout is complete, using the included mounting hardware. The system is designed for countertops that are 0.75 inches thick. Four pre-drilled faucet holes provide flexibility for single-hole, widespread, or bridge faucet configurations. The ADA-compliant design meets accessibility requirements when installed at the correct counter height per applicable standards. Bottom-mounted sound-deadening pads are factory-applied to the underside of the bowl to reduce vibration and noise during use.
Designed for drop-in installation in residential kitchen countertops 0.75 inches thick. Suitable for use with standard 3.5-inch kitchen drain assemblies. Compatible with countertop materials including laminate, solid surface, and tile when the cutout is sized per manufacturer specifications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the International Plumbing Code and applicable local codes. Shut off the water supply lines before disconnecting any existing fixture. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the sink rim perimeter before setting the sink into the countertop cutout to ensure a watertight seal. Do not overtighten the Quick-Clip mounting brackets, as excess force can distort the sink rim or damage the countertop material.
