The BSC PREFERRED LRADQ2022551 is a single-bowl drop-in kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. It measures 19.5 inches by 22 inches with a 5.5-inch bowl depth, offering a 16-inch square interior that provides adequate working room for washing, stacking, and prep tasks. The sink installs from above the countertop using a Quick-Clip Mounting System, which eliminates the need for under-counter access during installation. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside of the bowl to reduce water impact noise during use. The rear-positioned 3.5-inch drain opening preserves cabinet space below and keeps the drain out of the primary work zone. Plumbers and remodelers working on residential and light commercial kitchens are the primary installers of this unit.
This sink is suited for residential kitchens, laundry rooms, prep stations, and light commercial applications where a durable stainless steel drop-in unit is required. The drop-in configuration is compatible with laminate, solid surface, tile, and stone countertops that accept a cutout for top-mount installation. ADA compliance makes it appropriate for accessible kitchen designs in residential and commercial builds. The rear drain placement is particularly useful in shallow cabinet configurations where under-sink plumbing clearance is limited.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new installation sink for residential kitchens, laundry rooms, prep areas, and light commercial spaces requiring a top-mount single-bowl stainless steel sink with a 3.5-inch drain opening.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified tradesperson. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before removing any existing sink. The countertop cutout must match the sink rim dimensions; consult the manufacturer template for exact cutout size. Drain connections should comply with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC requirements, and silicone sealant rated for kitchen use should be applied along the sink rim before seating.
