The BSC PREFERRED LRADQ1722552 is a single bowl drop-in kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, designed for residential kitchen installation by licensed plumbers and skilled trades. The rectangular basin measures 13.5 inches in length by 16 inches in width with a depth of 5.375 inches, providing a functional wash area for dish cleaning and food prep. The rear center drain placement maximizes usable basin floor space and leaves cabinet interior clearance below. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside to reduce vibration and noise during use. The lustrous grain finish resists deep scratching, and normal surface wear blends into the finish over time.
This sink is suited for residential kitchen installations in both new construction and remodel applications. It ships with two faucet holes pre-drilled and meets ADA compliance requirements when installed according to applicable plumbing codes. The Quick-Clip mounting system secures the sink from above the countertop, making it compatible with laminate countertop installations where undermount access is limited. A minimum cabinet opening of 21 inches is required for proper fit. This sink is manufactured in the USA.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new-installation sink for residential kitchen countertop applications requiring a minimum cabinet opening of 21 inches. Overall dimensions are 17 inches by 22 inches. Compatible with standard laminate and solid surface countertops using the included Quick-Clip mounting system.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local IPC or applicable plumbing code requirements. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before removing any existing sink. Apply a continuous bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant along the sink rim perimeter before seating the sink into the countertop opening, then secure using the Quick-Clip fasteners from above. Verify ADA-compliant rough-in height and drain alignment before final connection.
