The BSC PREFERRED LRAD3319451 is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel drop-in double-bowl kitchen sink designed for residential kitchens where durability and workspace efficiency are both priorities. The sink measures 33 inches in length by 19.5 inches in width with a basin depth of 4.5 inches. Each of the two equal-sized square bowls measures 14 inches by 14 inches, with rear center drain placements to preserve usable cabinet space below. A Lustertone finish provides scratch resistance while remaining repairable if deep scratches occur. Sound-deadening pads reduce vibration and noise during everyday use. Licensed plumbers and experienced installers handle drop-in sink replacement and new installation.
This sink is suited for residential kitchen applications where a double-bowl configuration is needed for multitasking — separating wash and rinse functions, soaking, or food prep. The 1-hole faucet deck accommodates a wide range of single-hole faucet styles, giving flexibility on fixture selection. The U-channel installation method uses hidden mounting clips, keeping the installation clean and the deck surface uncluttered. The offset drain layout maximizes usable interior space in both the sink bowls and the cabinet below. When properly installed per applicable guidelines, this sink meets ADA compliance requirements, making it a practical choice for accessibility-conscious kitchen renovations.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new-install double-bowl kitchen sink for residential countertop cutouts accommodating a 33-inch by 19.5-inch sink deck with a 1-hole faucet configuration. Verify countertop cutout dimensions and cabinet clearance before installation.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the applicable local plumbing code and IPC guidelines. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before removing any existing sink. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the underside of the sink rim before dropping into the cutout, and secure with the provided hidden mounting clips before tightening drain assemblies. Do not over-tighten mounting hardware, as this can distort the sink rim or damage the countertop substrate.
