The BSC PREFERRED LRAD312265MR2 is a single-bowl drop-in kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. The outer dimensions measure 31 inches by 22 inches, with an interior bowl measuring 28 inches in length and 16 inches in width, providing substantial working space for food prep and dishwashing. The sink features Sound Guard technology using large pads to dampen operational noise. A rear center drain positioned at 3-1/2 inches preserves usable cabinet space below. The faucet hole configuration is MR2, supporting dual-handle or two-hole faucet installations. Manufactured in the USA and finished with a lustrous grain surface that resists scratching. ADA-compliant geometry allows accessible use across a broad range of users.
This sink is designed for residential kitchen installations and is suited to standard drop-in mounting configurations. The U-channel mounting system positions clips inside the channel, reducing installation time and limiting access required beneath the cabinet. A minimum cabinet opening of 36 inches is required. The MR2 faucet configuration accommodates standard two-hole deck-mount faucet setups. At 6.5 inches in depth, the bowl handles full cookware and large cutting boards. This model is appropriate for new construction, remodel, and replacement applications where an undermount-to-drop-in conversion or like-for-like swap is needed in a residential kitchen setting.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new-install sink for residential kitchens requiring a minimum 36-inch base cabinet. Compatible with standard 3-1/2-inch drain assemblies and two-hole deck-mount faucets matching the MR2 configuration.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified tradesperson. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before beginning removal or installation. Follow local plumbing code requirements, including IPC guidelines, for drain connection and trap installation. Apply a bead of silicone sealant along the sink rim before dropping into the cabinet cutout, and secure mounting clips evenly to prevent distortion of the rim seal.
