The BSC PREFERRED LRAD3122605 is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel drop-in kitchen sink designed for residential and light commercial kitchen installations. The single-bowl configuration measures 31 inches in length by 22 inches in width by 6 inches in depth, with a rectangular bowl interior of 28 inches by 16 inches. It carries an ADA-compliant rating, making it suitable for accessible kitchen layouts. A rear-center drain placement and a 3.5-inch drain opening optimize usable basin space. The sink is produced in the USA and installs into countertops up to 0.75 inches thick using a U-channel mounting system with included hardware. Licensed plumbers and skilled remodelers typically handle the installation.
This sink fits standard residential kitchen countertop cutouts and is appropriate for new construction and remodel projects requiring a drop-in, single-bowl stainless steel sink. The 5-hole faucet deck configuration supports a variety of faucet and accessory combinations, including sprayers and soap dispensers. The rear-center drain position and offset design free up under-sink cabinet space for storage. The factory-applied sound guard pads reduce basin vibration and water noise during everyday use, making it well suited for open-plan kitchen environments where sound control matters.
Designed as an OEM-style drop-in replacement or new-install sink for standard residential kitchen countertops accepting a single-bowl stainless steel drop-in unit with a 5-hole configuration.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified remodeler in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before beginning work. Verify countertop cutout dimensions and thickness compatibility before setting the sink. Do not overtighten mounting clips against the underside of the countertop, as this can crack solid-surface or tile materials.
