The BSC PREFERRED LRAD3122500 is an ADA-compliant single bowl drop-in kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. It measures 31 inches in length, 22 inches in width, and 5 inches in overall depth, with a rectangular bowl that measures 28 inches long and 16 inches wide with a usable depth of 4.875 inches. The sink features an offset drain measuring 3.5 inches that maximizes usable bowl space and cabinet clearance below. A scratch-resistant brushed finish and bottom sound-deadening pads round out the core construction. Licensed plumbers and general contractors install this sink in residential and light-commercial kitchen applications.
This sink is suited for drop-in installation in residential kitchens, rental properties, and high-traffic food-prep environments where durability and ADA accessibility are required. The U-channel mounting system comes with clips pre-positioned inside the channel, reducing time spent working under the sink during installation. A minimum cabinet size of 36 inches is required. The offset drain placement supports efficient workflow for meal prep and cleanup by keeping the bowl floor largely unobstructed. Manufactured in the USA, this sink carries the BSC PREFERRED designation for domestic production.
Designed for drop-in installation in standard kitchen cabinet cutouts with a minimum cabinet width of 36 inches. ADA-compliant configuration is compatible with accessible residential and commercial kitchen builds meeting applicable code requirements.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable IPC and local plumbing codes. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply connections before removing an existing sink. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the underside of the sink rim before setting it into the cutout, then secure with the provided mounting clips from below. Do not overtighten mounting clips, as this can distort the rim against the countertop surface.
