The BSC PREFERRED LRAD2918600 is an equal double bowl drop-in kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. It measures 29 inches in length, 18 inches in width, and 6 inches in overall depth. Each bowl measures 12 inches by 12 inches with a usable depth of 5.875 inches, providing enough clearance for pots and pans without excessive splashing. A scratch-resistant Lustertone Classic finish allows minor surface marks to blend over time, preserving appearance through heavy daily use. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside to reduce vibration and noise during operation. Installation uses a drop-in method with U-channel mounting clips, reducing time spent working under the cabinet. This sink is manufactured in the USA and meets ADA compliance standards when installed per manufacturer guidelines.
This sink is suited for residential kitchen installations where a double bowl configuration supports simultaneous tasks such as washing, rinsing, soaking, and drying. The equal bowl layout makes it practical for high-use kitchens in single-family homes and light-duty commercial prep areas. A minimum cabinet opening of 33 inches is required. The 3.5-inch drain opening accommodates standard kitchen drain assemblies. Licensed plumbers handle rough-in and drain connections; general contractors or experienced trades handle countertop cutout and drop-in mounting.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new-install sink for residential kitchen countertops requiring a minimum 33-inch base cabinet. Accepts standard 3.5-inch kitchen drain fittings.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified tradesperson in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC requirements. Power down any in-sink disposal units and shut off the water supply before beginning work. Verify countertop cutout dimensions against the sink rim before mounting, and confirm cabinet depth accommodates the 6-inch sink depth plus drain assembly clearance. Do not overtighten mounting clips, as doing so can stress the sink rim or countertop material.
