The BSC PREFERRED LRAD252265PD3 is a single bowl drop-in kitchen sink constructed from stainless steel and designed for residential kitchen installations. Measuring 25 inches by 22 inches by 6.5 inches, it meets ADA compliance requirements for accessible sink depth. The sink features a Perfect Drain design that eliminates the gap found around conventional drains, allowing food debris to clear the basin cleanly without catching at the drain collar. Sound-deadening pads bonded to the underside of the bowl reduce noise from running water and dishware impact. Licensed plumbers and general contractors handle the drop-in installation using a U-channel mounting system that positions clips inside the channel for easier access during the under-sink fastening process.
This sink is suited for residential kitchen remodels and new construction where a drop-in configuration is specified. The rectangular bowl provides sufficient interior area for washing, stacking, and food prep tasks. A rear-centered drain measuring 3.375 inches in diameter maximizes usable cabinet space below the sink. Three pre-cut faucet holes allow flexibility in faucet selection and configuration. The sink requires a minimum cabinet opening of 30 inches and ships with an LKPD1 Perfect Drain and strainer included in the package.
Designed for drop-in installation in kitchen countertops with a minimum cabinet size of 30 inches. Includes the LKPD1 Perfect Drain and strainer. Compatible with standard 3.375-inch drain openings.
Drop-in sink installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable IPC and local plumbing codes. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing plumbing before removing any existing sink. The U-channel mounting system requires securing clips from inside the channel rather than from below the countertop, which reduces the need for extended reach into the cabinet during installation. Verify countertop cutout dimensions against the sink rim before cutting to avoid rework.
