The BSC PREFERRED LRAD252255MR2 is a single-bowl drop-in kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. The outer dimensions measure 25 inches by 22 inches, with an interior bowl that runs 21 inches in length and 15.75 inches in width at a depth of 5.125 inches. That bowl volume handles full sheet pans, stock pots, and commercial prep loads without issue. A rear center drain placement improves gravity drainage and keeps the cabinet space beneath clear for storage. U-channel sink mounting accepts clips before the sink is set into the countertop cutout, which speeds up installation without requiring a helper underneath. Sound-deadening pads are factory-applied to the underside to reduce vibration noise during use. The sink carries ADA compliance designation when installed per applicable guidelines.
This sink is suited for residential kitchens, light commercial prep areas, and accessible kitchen installations where ADA conformance is required. The drop-in configuration fits standard countertop materials including laminate, solid surface, and tile. A minimum cabinet width of 30 inches is required for proper fitment. The 3.5-inch drain opening accepts standard basket strainer assemblies available from most plumbing supply houses. The sink is manufactured in the USA and is appropriate for both new construction and kitchen renovation projects. Licensed plumbers and finish carpenters typically handle final installation.
Designed for drop-in installation into standard kitchen countertops. Requires a minimum cabinet width of 30 inches. The 3.5-inch drain opening is compatible with standard kitchen basket strainer assemblies.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local IPC requirements. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain lines before removing any existing sink. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the underside of the sink rim before setting it into the countertop cutout, then tighten mounting clips evenly to avoid distorting the rim. Do not overtighten clips against fragile countertop materials such as tile or thin laminate.
