The BSC PREFERRED LRAD2219553 is a single bowl drop-in kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. Measuring 22 inches in length and 19.5 inches in width, the basin provides 18 inches by 14 inches of usable washing space with a 5.5-inch depth to contain splashes during dish washing or meal prep. The rear center drain placement maximizes usable basin area and simplifies plumbing runs below the countertop. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside of the bowl to reduce impact and water noise during use. ADA-compliant construction and Made in USA manufacture round out the core attributes of this sink.
This sink is suited for residential kitchens and light commercial applications where a drop-in installation is required. The U-channel mounting system allows the sink to be set into a cutout in the countertop without requiring extended under-deck work. A minimum cabinet width of 27 inches is required for proper fit. The sink accommodates up to three faucet holes, making it compatible with a range of single-handle, widespread, and side-spray faucet configurations. Licensed plumbers typically handle rough-in and final installation in commercial settings; skilled DIYers handle residential drop-in replacements.
Designed for drop-in installation in countertops with a minimum cabinet width of 27 inches. Compatible with standard 3.5-inch drain assemblies. Accepts single-hole, two-hole, and three-hole faucet configurations.
Shut off the water supply at the stop valves and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before removing any existing sink. Drop-in installation requires cutting a countertop opening to the manufacturer template dimensions and applying a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the mounting perimeter before setting the sink. Secure the U-channel clips evenly from below to prevent warping the rim. In commercial settings, installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local IPC requirements.
