The BSC PREFERRED LRAD202260MR2 is a drop-in single-bowl kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a Lustertone finish. It measures 19.5 inches x 22 inches x 6 inches overall, with a square bowl interior of 16 inches x 16 inches x 5.875 inches. The rear center drain placement is designed to maximize usable bowl depth and preserve cabinet clearance below. Sound deadening pads are factory-applied to reduce basin noise during use. This sink meets ADA compliance requirements, making it suitable for accessible residential and light commercial installations. Licensed plumbers and finish carpenters typically handle installation in new construction and remodel projects.
The LRAD202260MR2 is suited for residential kitchen applications where a drop-in mount is preferred or required by the countertop substrate. The U-channel mounting system allows clips to be pre-positioned before the sink is dropped into the cutout, which simplifies single-person installation. The sink accommodates countertop thicknesses up to 0.75 inches. Its ADA-compliant profile makes it appropriate for accessible kitchens in residential builds and federally regulated renovation projects. The Lustertone finish is scratch-resistant, and surface scratches can be buffed out without refinishing the entire basin.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new-install sink for standard kitchen countertop cutouts accommodating a 19.5 inch x 22 inch sink footprint. Compatible with countertops up to 0.75 inches thick.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable IPC requirements. Power down any in-sink disposal units and shut off supply valves before beginning work. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the countertop cutout perimeter before setting the sink, then secure mounting clips from below per the U-channel design. Do not overtighten mounting clips on stone or composite countertop materials, as uneven clamping force can cause cracking.
