The BSC PREFERRED LRAD1918652 is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel drop-in kitchen sink designed for residential installation. The rectangular single bowl measures 19 x 18 x 6.5 inches and accepts a standard 3.5-inch drain opening. A rear-centered drain placement maximizes usable bowl depth and leaves clear cabinet space below. The scratch-resistant Lustertone finish maintains its polished appearance under daily workload conditions. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside to reduce impact and water noise. Weighing 8 pounds, it is a manageable one-person installation in standard residential countertop cutouts.
The LRAD1918652 is suited for residential kitchen installations where a compact single-bowl drop-in configuration is required. ADA compliance makes it appropriate for accessible kitchen designs. The sink accommodates up to two faucet holes, giving installers flexibility for single-handle or separate handle-and-spout configurations. All mounting hardware is included for countertops up to 0.75 inches thick. The U-channel mounting system uses interior-positioned clips for easier access during installation without requiring removal of adjacent cabinetry.
Designed as an OEM-style drop-in replacement for residential kitchen countertop cutouts accommodating a 19 x 18-inch single-bowl sink. Compatible with countertops up to 0.75 inches thick using the included mounting hardware. Supports up to two faucet holes for standard residential faucet configurations.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified contractor following local plumbing code requirements. Power down any garbage disposal or in-sink appliance and shut off the water supply before beginning work. Apply a continuous bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the countertop cutout perimeter before seating the sink. Tighten mounting clips evenly to avoid warping the sink flange against the countertop surface.
