The BSC PREFERRED LRAD172065PD3 is an 18-gauge stainless steel drop-in kitchen sink designed for residential kitchen installations. The single rectangular bowl measures 14 inches by 10 inches and provides adequate workspace for dishwashing, food prep, and general kitchen tasks. Overall sink dimensions are 17 inches by 20 inches by 6.5 inches deep. The rear center Perfect Drain placement eliminates the gap around the drain opening, promoting cleaner water flow and easier debris removal. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside of the bowl to reduce noise during use. The lustrous finish resists scratching and is designed to blend surface marks over time. The LKPD1 Perfect Drain and strainer are included.
This drop-in sink is suited for residential kitchen countertop cutouts requiring a minimum cabinet width of 21 inches. The mounting hardware uses clips placed inside the U-channel, allowing faster installation without extended time working beneath the counter. ADA compliance makes this sink appropriate for accessible kitchen builds and remodels. It is installed by plumbers and general contractors as part of new construction or kitchen renovation projects. The rear drain position maximizes usable cabinet space below the sink for storage of plumbing supply lines and P-trap components.
Designed as an OEM-style drop-in replacement or new-installation single-bowl kitchen sink requiring a minimum 21-inch base cabinet. Includes the LKPD1 Perfect Drain and strainer as specified in the product package.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified contractor. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing plumbing before removing any existing sink. Use appropriate countertop cutting tools to achieve the required cutout dimensions and verify cabinet width meets the 21-inch minimum before templating. Follow local plumbing codes, including applicable IPC requirements, for drain and supply line connections.
